Known for their traditional knitwear and long association with the sport of golf, Lyle and Scott took the leap into high fashion which required a suitable flagship store. This was acquired in London’s famous Carnaby Street.

 

The exciting design included joinery items representing a vast loom, Argyll diamond patterns recessed into the floors and doors and even a ceiling feature made entirely from golf clubs! And who could forget the thousands of individual golf tees that were used as back panels for the tills!

 

Works included full strip out, repositioned staircases and the addition of goods lifts.
