With a footprint of over 4000ft2 the client wanted to futureproof the use of this prime London space. The brief was to design two distinct 2000ft2 areas that could function together or independently.

 

We created the main 'café' and the ‘playzone’

 

In the event that the amenity was ever to be reduced in size, the 'playzone' could be handed back to the landlord with no detrimental effect to the café’s operational capability.

 

The ‘playzone’ as the name suggests is a fun break out area with the theme of a retro amusement park with genuine reclaimed artefacts adding to the authenticity of the space.

 

The materials and finishes in the main café were carefully selected to ensure a synergy to the two spaces.
